Employee Spotlight: Renae Chacon
Keeping the wheels of Marycrest Assisted Living in motion is a full time - and fulfilling job for Renae Chacon. Renae has been an administrative assistant at Marycrest Assisted Living since March of 1998. Renae is one of five children and is a native of Denver. After graduating from North High School, Renae attended Community College of Denver, where she received a certificate as a PC Specialist. After an 18-year career with the phone company, Renae joined the Sisters of St. Francis at Marycrest, and from there moved to Marycrest Assisted Living.
We asked Renae what she likes most about her job and why she has stayed at Marycrest Assisted Living. She responded, "I like the incredible and outstanding management team, my co-workers, the residents, and of course the fact that I get to work on the computer! Marycrest Assisted Living exemplifies the spirit of a family-friendly work environment with flexible work arrangements, good health care benefits, a good location, and family assistance and support."
Renae is the single parent of three lovely daughters, ages 29, 21 and 16. Her favorite hobbies include collecting angels, sewing, drawing and exploring the computer.
