When are visitors welcome and can I take my family member home for an extended time?

Visitors are welcome anytime; however we do ask that they sign in and out at the front desk. You may leave the facility at anytime for vacation with family; however if you are on Medicaid please check the rules.

Are there tours available at your facility?

We are happy to tour families anytime.

Is Marycrest Assisted Living a Catholic facility?

We are owned by the Sisters of St. Francis and are faith based, but we welcome anyone who needs assisted living services, regardless of religious orientation.

Does your facility have Mass on a weekly basis?

Yes, Mass is offered once a week on Wednesdays and a on Sunday mornings.

What is the difference between the two buildings at Marycrest Assisted Living?

Marycrest Assisted Living serves a diverse group of individuals. Situated on the beautiful Marycrest campus in northwest Denver, there are two separate and distinct residences. Serenity Residence for senior adults age 55 and older and, Harmony Residence for non-seniors ages 18-55 years old needing the support and care of assisted living.

Does Marycrest Assisted Living have single and double occupancy?

Marycrest Assisted Living has single occupancy studio apartments featuring a small kitchen area, living space, and a large bathroom with a wheel-in shower.

Does Marycrest Assisted Living have a nursing home?

Marycrest Assisted Living does not provide skilled level of care.

Does your facility have a nurse on staff?

Both Harmony and Serenity currently provide nursing services and you can also access home health care to supplement our services.

What services does your facility provide?

A full menu of services provides the essentials for quality care in addition to supportive care which includes: Individualized personal care for bathing, dressing and grooming, round the clock staffing, affiliated physician, licensed preferred provider on-site daily, LPN, continence management program, medication monitoring/administration, three meals daily, housekeeping and activities program. In-house physician service and Kaiser rounding physician

What types of activities are offered?

Marycrest Assisted Living provides a variety of programs that include: social, intellectual, creative, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational.

Does your facility provide transportation to doctor appointments, shopping and activities?

The Marycrest Assisted Living bus provides transportation to community activities including monthly shopping, movies, and other events. We do not at this time provide transportation to outside medical appointments.

Does your facility provide specialized diets?

Marycrest Assisted Living does not provide specialized diets.

What is the monthly fee at Marycrest Assisted Living and when is it due?

Monthly fees are based on annual income as well as level of care and due the month prior.

Does Medicare, Medicaid or insurance pay any of the costs?

You must qualify for Medicaid and be approved for the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program. Medicare is a health insurance program and doesn't cover long term housing- one must qualify and be approved for HCBS program. Individuals who carry long term care insurance should check with their provider and policy regarding coverage.
